Products Description

The PEEK (polyetheretherketone) resin rod is  high-performance special engineering plastic, often referred to as the "King of Plastics".
Its core feature is that it can replace metals or some alloys under extreme conditions such as high temperature, high pressure, and strong corrosion, while still maintaining the self-lubrication and insulation advantages of plastics.

1.Outstanding high-temperature resistance
Can be used continuously for a long time at 260ºC, and the short-term usage temperature can reach 300ºC to 320ºC.
2.Excellent mechanical and fatigue resistance
Combining rigidity and toughness, with high mechanical strength. The most outstanding feature is fatigue resistance. Its performance under alternating stress is the best among all resins, even comparable to some alloy materials, suitable for manufacturing structural components that are frequently subjected to force.
3.Excellent self-lubrication and wear resistance
Has a very low friction coefficient and excellent sliding properties, making it ideal for use as oil-free lubricated bearings, gears, sealing rings, etc.
4.Extremely strong chemical corrosion resistance
Except for concentrated sulfuric acid and other few strong oxidants, it does not dissolve in any solvent at room temperature. It has extremely high stability against acids, alkalis, oils, and organic solvents. Its corrosion resistance is similar to that of nickel steel, suitable for harsh medium environments such as chemical pumps and valves.

 

5.Resistant to hydrolysis and radiation
PEEK Can maintain good mechanical properties when immersed in high-temperature high-pressure steam or water for a long time.
At the same time, it can resistance to high-energy radiation such as γ-rays, and can be used in nuclear industries and medical sterilization scenarios.
6.Safe flame retardancy and electrical insulation
Can reach UL94 V-0 level (self-extinguishing) without adding any flame retardants, with very little smoke and toxic gas release during combustion. Its electrical insulation performance is stable within a wide temperature range, with low dielectric loss.
7.Good processing and dimensional stability
Has extremely low water absorption (about 0.05%), a small linear expansion coefficient (close to that of metal aluminum), and stable product dimensions. Suitable for CNC numerical control machining, grinding, and other secondary precision processing, and easy to be made into precision parts.
