FEP is a fully fluorinated, transparent thermoplastic known for its exceptional temperature resistance (-200°C to 200°C), chemical inertness (resistant to strong acids, alkalis, and organic solvents), and high transparency (light transmittance >95%). It features a smooth surface, low friction coefficient, self-lubrication, and outstanding electrical insulation (dielectric constant 2.1), along with non-stick properties and UV resistance. FEP can be melt-processed into films, tubes, or complex components, widely used in chemical corrosion-resistant linings, high-frequency cable insulation, medical catheters, solar panel protective films, and semiconductor sealing parts. It is a high-performance fluoroplastic balancing functionality and processing versatility.
